Post Wedding Breakfast

We will be at the Friendly Toast in Portsmouth for breakfast Monday morning at 9:00 AM. Any family or friends who will still be in town and would like to join us are welcome! The Friendly Toast is a fun local restaurant serving breakfast and lunch all day. You can check out their menu, pricing, and location on their website www.thefriendlytoast.net. There is definitely something for everyone (including many gluten free options). Betsy’s favorite breakfast so far is the King Cakes- pancakes with chocolate chips and bananas layered with peanut butter in between.
This is a very casual event but please let us know if you will be coming so we can let them know how many to expect. We’d love to all be able to sit together and spend a little more time with family and friends. Bring the kids, bring other friends, the more the merrier! We know many people will have to go back to work on Monday but we hope that you’ll be able to join us!

The pressure is on to get the last few details organized. The invitations got put together this weekend, honeymoon travel is booked, the bridesmaids have shoes and we have a caterer to pour the drinks. There are still many items to check off the to-do list but we are getting there. Luckily I have Sasha to help me when I stay up late getting things done.

You would think that storing pictures on the computer would make things neat and tidy. Well, just because you can’t see the mess doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Somehow I’ve managed to create “piles” of pictures just like I pile everything else (if you’ve ever seen my home or work desks you know what I’m talking about). The problem is there is the pile on my computer, the one on Dan’s computer, the one on the laptop, the other laptop, oh maybe the netbook, or was that on the server? And maybe it would have been a good idea to name things once in a while. I’ll get some more photo galleries up just as soon as I organize all of these photos. Let’s hope that happens sometime before the wedding.

Wow that Epping Post Office is fast!

In a shocking turn of events, I may have rushed ahead of myself a little (while still running late at the same time which is quite impressive if you think about it). I was so excited to finally get some of the Save-the-Date cards in the mail. Unfortunately we hadn’t actually set up this site yet. And wouldn’t you know we have so many great friends and family that got all excited and rushed to their computers to find a whole bunch of nothing. I figured if they went in the mail on a Thursday afternoon I’d have until Monday. Boy was I mistaken. For a small town operation, that Epping Post Office moves things along. And let’s be honest, the excuse of “I couldn’t get to a computer to get it set up” just doesn’t work in our house. Nor does the excuse “We didn’t know how to set it up”. But, here we are now, getting things under way and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun sharing some of our journey with you.
